How do you clean your inner self?
March 25, 2010The ancient proverb ”cleanliness is next to godliness” has taken on a whole new meaning in my life. By taking 15 minutes a day to relax and free my mind from the negativity of the world I am able- on most days- to stay calm and keep my mind open to the opportunities that are surrounding me.
My favorite way to “clean” is to grab a cup of coffee, sit on my sofa first thing in the morning and appreciate my surroundings in silence. I guess I should say the noise is limited to the sounds of nature and a clock ticking away. Regardless of the subtle noises, this “silent” time gives me the only opportunity I have all day to relax completely. No running here and there, or radios or TVs blasting. Just the kick I need to get my day going great and on most occasions keep it great all day.
What do you do to meditate, clean your mind, relax?

- Two to three goals to start out with. As you complete one goal replace it with another.
